Maanaz — Terms of Service

Maanaz (accessible at app.maanaz.com) is a multi-tenant internal governance and work management platform. It provides tools for work management, HR governance, talent acquisition, document management, and related operational workflows for organizations ("Organizations").

2.1 You must be at least 18 years old and authorized by your Organization to create an account.

2.2 You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.

2.3 Email verification is required before you can access the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and all activity that occurs under your account.

2.4 You may not share your credentials, allow others to access the Service through your account, or use another person's account without authorization.

3.1 The Service is structured around Organizations (tenants). All data, settings, and activity are scoped to an Organization.

3.2 Within an Organization, users are assigned one of three roles: Head Manager, Manager, or Member. Access to features is determined by your role, your Organization's module settings, and your Organization's subscription plan.

3.3 The Head Manager (primary administrator) is responsible for configuring the Organization, managing members, enabling or disabling modules, and ensuring compliance with these Terms for all users within their Organization.

3.4 Invitations to join an Organization are bound to a specific email address. Accepting an invitation links your account to that Organization. You may not belong to more than one Organization at the same time without prior authorization.

4.1 You agree to use the Service only for lawful business purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

4.2 You must not:

• Upload, store, or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
• Use the Service to process data for which your Organization does not hold the necessary legal basis or consent
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or our infrastructure
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools against the Service except through our documented API under your API key entitlement
• Upload highly sensitive credentials (passwords, government ID numbers, bank credentials) unless your Organization has approved data handling policies for doing so

4.3 You acknowledge that the Service includes AI-powered features (HR governance agent, work management agent, recruitment agent). Outputs from these features are assistive in nature and should be reviewed by a qualified human before acting on them. We are not responsible for decisions made solely on the basis of AI-generated outputs.

5.1 The Service supports integrations with third-party applications including Google Meet, Google Calendar, Zoom, Slack, and Read.ai (collectively "Third-Party Services"). Use of any Third-Party Service is subject to that provider's own terms of service and privacy policy.

5.2 Google Workspace Integrations (Meet and Calendar)

By connecting your Google account, you authorize Maanaz to request the following OAuth scopes on your behalf, limited to what is necessary for the integration to function: reading and writing calendar events, and accessing Google Meet details associated with calendar events. We do not store your Google credentials. OAuth tokens are stored securely and used only to perform the actions you initiate within the Service. You may revoke this access at any time from your Google account settings or from within the Maanaz integrations panel.

5.3 Zoom Integration

By connecting your Zoom account, you authorize Maanaz to request scopes necessary to create, read, and manage Zoom meetings on your behalf. We store only the access and refresh tokens required for the integration to function, and we do not access your Zoom data beyond what is needed for meeting management within Maanaz. You may disconnect the integration at any time.

5.4 Other Integrations

We may add further third-party integrations over time. Each integration will request only the minimum necessary permissions. Connecting an integration constitutes your consent to share the limited data described in the relevant connection flow.

5.5 We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or data handling practices of any Third-Party Service.

6.1 Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. Plans (Free, Pro, Business) and add-ons are described on our pricing page.

6.2 Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com), our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy collects payment information directly; we do not store your credit card or bank details. By subscribing, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms of service and privacy policy.

6.3 Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected). You authorize us (via Lemon Squeezy) to charge your payment method on each renewal date until you cancel.

6.4 You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal within the Service. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are provided for unused time unless required by applicable law.

6.5 We reserve the right to change plan pricing and entitlements with reasonable notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

6.6 If a payment fails, we may suspend or downgrade your Organization's access until payment is resolved.

6.7 Add-ons (such as additional storage) are billed as separate line items through Lemon Squeezy. Storage add-ons are non-refundable once consumed.

7.1 You and your Organization retain ownership of all data, files, and content you upload to the Service ("Customer Data").

7.2 You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit Customer Data solely as necessary to provide the Service to you.

7.3 You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to upload and process Customer Data through the Service, including any personal data of employees, candidates, or third parties.

7.4 We do not sell Customer Data to third parties.

8.1 The Service, including its software, design, logos, and documentation, is owned by Maanaz and protected by intellectual property laws.

8.2 We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

8.3 Feedback or suggestions you provide about the Service may be used by us without obligation or compensation to you.

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance, updates, or emergency fixes that temporarily affect access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features or the entire Service, with reasonable notice where practicable.

10.1 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Maanaz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service.

10.2 Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.

10.3 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Maanaz and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, and costs (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party rights or applicable law.

12.1 You may close your account at any time by contacting info@maanaz.com or using account settings.

12.2 We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service, with notice where required.

12.3 Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases. We may retain Customer Data for a reasonable period (not exceeding 90 days) as described in our Privacy Policy, after which it will be deleted.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Maanaz is registered. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.
