Maanaz — Google Calendar and Google Meet guide
Last updated: April 2026Connect Google Calendar for sync and Google Meet for video links, use them in meetings, and disconnect when needed.
1. Adding Google Calendar and Google Meet
Google Calendar and Google Meet appear as two entries on the Apps page. You may connect one or both, depending on whether you need calendar sync, Meet links, or both.
- Sign in to Maanaz and open Apps (https://app.maanaz.com/apps).
- For Google Calendar, choose Connect and complete the Google account OAuth flow. Approve the calendar-related scopes when prompted.
- For Google Meet, choose Connect and complete OAuth. This authorizes Maanaz to create Meet links for meetings you create in the product.
- After success, each card shows connected state and (when available) a timestamp. Use Reconnect to refresh a token.
2. Using Google Calendar and Google Meet
- Google Calendar— Events you create or change in Maanaz can sync with your Google Calendar where your organization's product behavior supports it; your calendar view can show relevant events.
- Google Meet — When Meet is selected for a meeting, Maanaz can attach a Google Meet join link for participants.
- You can revoke Google access any time from your Google Account security settings; disconnecting in Maanaz is described below.
3. Removing the Google apps
- In Maanaz, open Apps and use Disconnect on Google Calendar and/or Google Meet as needed.
- Optionally, remove Maanaz at Google Account → Third-party access to revoke OAuth centrally.
