Maanaz — Google Chat integration guide

Add Google Chat to a Maanaz Space, deliver notifications, and remove the connection.

1. Adding Google Chat

Google Chat in Maanaz is configured per Space (not only from the global Apps page). You attach an incoming webhook for a specific Google Chat space.

  1. Open the Space (room) in Maanaz where you want Chat notifications to go to.
  2. Go to the Space Integrations (or similar) area in the Maanaz UI.
  3. Choose to connect Google Chat and follow the steps to create or paste a Google Chat incoming webhook URL for that space, then save.
  4. Complete any verification step shown in the UI. You can repeat the process for other Spaces with different webhooks.

2. Using Google Chat in Maanaz

When connected, the Space can post selected activity (for example meeting-related notifications) to the Google Chat space you linked, according to your settings.

3. Removing Google Chat

  1. In the Maanaz Space, open the Google Chat integration and disconnect or remove the webhook URL (wording may match the in-product control).
  2. In Google Chat, you can remove or disable the incoming webhook in the space's app settings to stop delivery from the Google side.
